At 1:30pm 7 years ago, Will and I said, "We do." Yesterday we celebrated by taking Boosie to the zoo (her first time) and then going to Falls Park (1st time for all of us). Oh, it was beautiful! We decided we're definitely going back there in the spring and taking a picnic. The Reedy River was really flowing due to the rain from Friday. And it was 70 Saturday, so it was a great day to be outside. Ella loved seeing the monkeys at the zoo; she loves beating her chest and going "Eeee, Eeee."
I guess that's more like a gorilla, but we think it's hilarious. My favorite thing? Rocking in the swing by the river w/my favorite 2 people. Will and I kept saying how much we enjoyed that time together as a family and how we need to do relaxing things like that more often.
Today we said our vows to each other again and asked God for His grace and strength to love each other like we should. Ella was our witness this time. :-)
Merry Christmas!

LOVE that you said your vows again with Ella, weep weep...
You are such a thoughtful and wonderful person. Thanks for sharing with us! Missed you at the family party. I just did a terrible post: no info, wasn't feeling inspired until I read yours!!!
I finally received your photo card! As Elizabeth said "beautiful family!" Thanks!!!!!
Letisha
Beautiful, beautiful....
You are a very blessed woman.
-L. (the other one) :)
Ella just gets prettier and cuter...what a blessing she is! I'm so happy for you and Willie, how you've grown together over the years. It's amazing to me when I think back on how you met and the great relationship you've created. You have been such a sweet sis-in-law and a wonderful wife for Willie. Glad you had a good anniversary at Reedy! They've done so much with it, haven't they? It's beautiful! Love you -Em
Thanks, Letisha. I thought it was time for an updated pic!
Of course, I have you to thank for bringing us together, Emmie!
I would probably still be pining away for Will had you not given him a nudge. :-)
Sorry I missed you and Liz at the party too-maybe next year. It was just too much traveling at one time for Ella when we were heading to my house on Christmas Day.
And thanks, Laura, (the other one) for leaving me a comment. I hope your pet-sitting went well. Looking forward to our shopping trip!
okay, now you have to share your "how we met" story! Sounds interesting. hee hee
Letisha
Oh-how me met-there's an easy answer-through Emily inviting me to the 4th of July Picnic (I met Em through a piano class at BJ) but the whole thing would take forever to write...maybe one day I'll write about it. Thanks for giving me an idea for a future post! :-)
Well the short version is good! Who would of thought you and Will would end up as a couple after Emily invited you to the family picnic! How neat.
Kinda like us, I worked with Daniel's middle brother at Barge and he said I and his brother would make a great couple. I thought yeah whatever! But that summer we happened to meet. You know where that story ends!
Letisha
Letisha-how neat. Thank God for siblings, right?
:-)
I am so glad that you had such a wonderful anniversary! That was a great idea about the vows. Sorry we missed talking over the holidays - I enjoyed getting caught up on your details with your blog. I am excited for your B&B trip. I hope we can talk soon!
Love,
Sarah Grace
